Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar is situated in the Matsya-Mewat region of Rajasthan within the Aravali hills. It is the only university in the state of Rajasthan that caters to the educational needs of the students in Alwar. Since the university is located in the Matya-Mewat region, RRBMU imparts education to the students and conducts various research activities on the various aspects connected to that particular region.
