Scottish Church College

Scottish Church College (SCC) was set up on 13th July 1830 and founded by Dr Alexander Duff, DD, LLD (1806-1878) the first overseas missionary of the Church of Scotland to India, Initially known as the General Assembly's Institution. The college is affiliated with the University of Calcutta and is also accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade. The college offers various UG, PG and B.Ed courses across various disciplines.

Scottish Church College, Kolkata admission 2024 is started for various streams and courses. The college considers different procedures for UG, PG and B.Ed courses. Scottish Church College Eligibility Criteria

Scottish Church College has set up different criteria for admission in different courses. The candidate must fulfil all the requirements for getting admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Com Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have passed their 10+2 securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in commerce, from a recognized board.
• Admission is given on a merit basis in the last qualifying exam.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have a B.Sc degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. 
• Admission is given on the basis of the last qualifying exam or entrance exam of the college.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidates must have passed their Bachelors’ or Masters’ in Arts/ Science with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university.
