• Activities of the Anesthesiology Department include clinical delivery of quality anesthesia care, management of surgical intensive care unit, postoperative pain relief, pulmonary function testing, pain clinic, Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, and critical care medicine.
• Activities included in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics are Statistical Education, Research Consultancy, Computer Education, Data Analysis Support, and Management of Patient Care Data.
• Activities of the Department of Cardiology are Treadmill Stress Testing and Colour Doppler Echocardiography, ICU monitoring, mitral valve balloon dilatations, pediatric therapeutic interventions, diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases, etc.
• Activities included in the Critical Care Medicine are assessment, advice, transfer of the patients to the ICU, assessment and management of airway, placement of central venous lines, and advice regarding parenteral nutrition of patients.

• SGPGI has two types of accommodation one for married residents and another for unmarried residents.
• For unmarried students, two hostels are available with single-bedded rooms and attached bathrooms.
