Admission to the undergraduate programs is made based on the merit rank obtained by the qualified student in the entrance test conducted by the Karnataka State Government (KCET) or COMEDK. The minimum qualification for applying is to have a 50% aggregate in the 12th standard. The reservations are made as follows. 

1. KCET- 45% of the total seats.
2. COMEDK- 30% of the total seats.
3. Management Quota- 25% of the total seats.
