  • 10+2 pass (or equivalent) from a recognised board.

  • Minimum 45–50% marks in Class 12 (Science for B.Tech; any stream for other UG courses).

  • Scores in JEE Main / GUJCET may be required for government quota (ACPC counselling) seats.

Postgraduate Programs (e.g., MBA, M.Sc, MCA etc.)

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree with minimum ~50% marks.

  • Entrance exam scores (e.g., CMAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT) may be accepted for some seats.

PhD Programs (Research)

  • Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent).

  • Admission usually also considers university entrance test and research proposal/presentation.

Step 2 – Admission Notification & Dates

  1. Application Window:
    • UG/PG (e.g., B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA): Applications generally open March to May each year.
    • MBA applications may begin as early as November/December of the previous year.

  2. Important Entrance Exams (if applicable):
GUJCET / JEE Main for B.Tech related counselling.
CMAT / CAT / MAT / XAT / NMAT for MBA admissions under state counselling (ACPC).

Step 4 – Entrance Test / Merit Assessment

Depending on your program:

For B.Tech / UG Technical Courses

  • If you are applying through ACPC counselling quota, your GUJCET or JEE Main scores will be used.

  • If you apply under management/direct university quota, admission may be based purely on Class 12 merit plus any internal evaluation.

For MBA & Other PG Courses

  • Admission may consider CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/NMAT scores along with graduation marks.

  • Some programs also include GD/PI (Group Discussion/Personal Interview) as part of the evaluation.

For PhD

  • Eligible candidates are required to take the university entrance test (50 marks research methodology + 50 marks subject paper) and/or research proposal presentation.

  • Some exceptional candidates may be exempt from the entrance test as per university rules.

Step 5 – Merit List / Shortlisting

  • After evaluating applications, the university or ACPC counselling authority prepares a merit list/shortlist of candidates based on eligibility, entrance exam performance, GD/PI (if applicable), and seat availability.

  • Shortlisted students are notified through the admission portal, email, or SMS.

Step 6 – Document Verification

Selected candidates must appear for document verification either online or in person at the university admission office. Required verification documents include:

  • Class 10 & 12 certificates and mark sheets

  • Graduation mark sheets (for PG/PhD)

  • Entrance exam scorecard (if required)
