Established in 1954, SS Jain Subodh PG College, located in Jaipur emerged as one of the premier institutions of higher learning education in Rajasthan. Shri Shwetamber Sthanakwasi Jain Society decided to set up an educational institution at Jaipur when they realized the importance of education, which was established by  S.S. Jain Subodh Shiksha Samiti (SSJSSS) with the aim to provide higher education and support the society by contributing value towards the holistic development of the society. Starting from a primary school, SS Jain Subodh PG College is now providing education at different levels in different streams with 18 institutions and over 32000 students. The institution successfully achieved its vision towards creating moral values, socially conscious, the concept of social equality of the society.

• Two alumni from Subodh College forwarded their steps to represent India worldwide, one is Rajat Chauhan won a Silver Medal for India, in Archery, in 18th Asian games held at Jakarta- 2018,
• The other one is Kamlesh Nagarkoti who is a part of the ICC Under 19 World Cup 2018 Winner Indian cricket team and bought by KKR a whopping Rs 3.2 crore in IPL auction 2018.

SS Jain Subodh PG College MoUs & Collaborations:

Subodh College has signed many MoUs and collaborated with various institutions to build up the research activity and research output, the list MoUs are:

• In 2016, the college has signed an MoU with Bauman Moscow State Technical University in order to develop and implement split programs at UG, PG, and Ph.D. levels for the purpose of research and facilitating exchange programs in the field of sports and culture as well.
• In 2015, the college has signed an MoU with University of Wolverhampton, UK in order to cultivate and promote the enriching educational practices through collaborative research and exchange programs of both students and faculties.
• The college has signed MoU with NGO's Upvan Seva Sansthan, Samrish Society, and Samajaik Anaveshan Avam Shodh Sansthan for the betterment of underprivileged section of the society.
• The college has collaborated with Praveen Lata Sansthan and Satya, which is an All India Welfare Society Girl Child Protection & Promotion, and these are other non-government organizations to encourage various activities for deprived and needy children of the society.
• The college has collaboration with Bhandari Hospital and Research Centre, Jaipur to provide their college staff and their family all the facilities like ambulance and other prompt services.
• The college has signed an MoU with the Institute of Crystallography, Russian Academy of Sciences Moscow, Russia for cross-cultural and research activities.
• The college has also associated with ETCO e-waste Recycler Private Limited, Jaipur for recycling and disposing of e-waste.
• The college is running the Soil Health and Scheme in collaboration with the Govt. of Rajasthan in order to analyze the soil sample from various parts of the society.
• The college has an authorized center of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited to develop a new educational framework that can plan, implement and regulate towards the development of I.T.
• The visit of foreign delegates is also a regular feature of the college. The research scholars from Dhaka University visited the campus for international exposure to the academic process.
• The college has signed other MoUs earlier with Swansea Metropolitan University, Brooks by Melton College, Leicestershire, and College Sir Gar to promote research and other exchange programs.

SS Jain Subodh PG College Infrastructure Facilities:

The campus of the college is centrally located and spread across 10 acres of land area. The college is designed in a state of art infrastructural setup:

• There are five constructed floors and 146 classrooms, where five of the classrooms are smart class, well furnished, properly ventilated with a sufficient number of lights and fans, where one room is for V Sat classes for all departments, and one room for Video Conferencing for all departments.
• There are 46 laboratories for all the required departments, the types of Labs and the number of Labs are:

• There are 5 conference/seminar halls to conduct academic activities like conferences, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, for the development of the students. The hall has a sitting capacity of approx 1300 persons.
• The college has an open-air stage in the center of the college to conduct various academic activities like debate competition, quiz competition, and various exhibitions.
• There is Library and Book Bank, where the institutional library has a built-up area of 5960 Sq. Ft. with three floors. It has a collection of 1,32,983 books and 159 journals. It also has an e-library with information and Library Network Center.
• The Library users can access more than 1,25,000 e-books and more than 6000 e-journals through this service. E-library has 8 computers connected on LAN with an internet connection.
• Subodh College has an open playground and indoor stadium, where they provide excellent sports facilities for students, it includes a stadium with a sitting capacity of 200 spectators.
• The indoor stadium provides an A-class facility, students can enjoy their free time playing indoor games like Short rifle shooting range, Badminton, Table Tennis, Basket Ball, etc. The stadium also includes Carrom and Chess room.
• Subodh College has a big playground for outdoor games like Cricket, VolleyBall, Football, Hockey and different coaches for different games who guide the students in the specific games and prepare the students for the state and national level tournaments and championship.
• For athletes, the college is providing various equipment for different games. The students of the college won lots of prizes at the state, national and international levels for outdoor and indoor games.
• Subodh College also includes two well-equipped gymnasiums with treadmills, dumbbells, weighs, six seater multi pressing stations.
• There is a huge underground parking facility for both faculties and students for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers under CCTV surveillance as security.
• Subodh Collge has accommodation for girls with capacity for 225 girls with single, double and triple occupancy.

Subodh college placement cell has been formed by training and has an excellent team of corporate experience and the student's placement coordinators organize various activities to ensure that the students participate in all the activities. The students have been placements in some top companies and are being groomed for various on and off campus placements:

• The students are groomed for their placements through different pre-placement workshops and training sessions to develop their communication skills, personality, aptitude.
• The students from different streams are given job opportunities, in public, private or entrepreneurship.

Students can take admission for all the UG, PG courses and other Diploma, Certification, Doctorate programs. The procedure for admission in the college are given below:

• Admissions for Diploma, Doctorate, and Certification programs are given on the basis of first come first serve basis, then later students are given admission on the basis of merit list.
• 3% admission reservation is given to all the female students, 4% is given to the minorities, 1% is given to the wards of alumni of the college.
• Admissions of students are done on the basis of last examinations merit.
• Online Application is available for the students to apply online and the payment of fees can be done online.
• Extra weightage is given to those who are awarded NCC/ NSS/ Rovers/ Sports certificates.
• The admission in MCA is given as per the Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), an autonomous body under the Department of Technical Education of Government of Rajasthan and Rajasthan Technical University, Kota.
