The ICFAI University, Meghalaya Admission

The university is a self-financed one, supported by the Sponsor Society. Within the state of Meghalaya, the university has two campuses- one in Tura, and the other in Shillong. ICFAI, [IU] Meghalaya was established under the provisions of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University Act, 2005 (Meghalaya Act No. 12 of 2005).

Established with the aim of making higher education accessible to all, adding to employment generation efforts in the state and extending benefits of close industry interface to budding students, the university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. has courses from the faculties of Management Studies, Travel and Tourism Management, Humanities, Commerce and Computer Application.

At the undergraduate level, the university offers courses such as , , , BBA and BTTM. Under the BA programme, there are four subject choices available to students, these are Economics, English, Political Science and Education. Details of the same are given below-

Admission to the undergraduate courses is on the basis of Merit and academic performance in previous years.
Students in the final year of their 10+2 study, can avail provisional admission.

Extensions of most courses offered at the undergraduate level are available for postgraduate study. , MA, , MCA and MTTM are the five courses offered by the institute. The course can be opted for with any of the 8 electives offered by the university, namely- Marketing, Banking, Insurance, Finance, HRM, IT and Systems, Accounting, Investments. M.Com and MA courses also have 4 subjects of specialization each. Details regarding the postgraduate level programmes are given below-

Admission to the postgraduate courses is decided by merit and prior academic record of the candidates. Students in the last of their degree may also apply for provisional admission. Details of the same are given in the table below-

To apply offliine, candidates can procure the Application forms from the college.

• Duly filled application forms along with attested (be done by a Gazetted officer / Principal of the Institution) copies requisite certificates and a colour photograph of the candidates can then be sent to the Admission Officer, ICFAI University Shillong address. 
• This should be accompanied by a Demand Draft for Application Fee of INR 300/- (drawn in favour of ‘The ICFAI University, Meghalaya - Fee Collection A/c’)
• Candidates are advised to save a copy of the Application Form with themselves.

Candidates can apply for admission through online mode. To do this, visit the official website of the university.

• Click on Admissions Tab and select the option- “Apply Online” to navigate to the
• In the Application Form, select the Campus and the appropriate course.
  Fill in personal details, previous education information, test scores and other information asked.
• Upload soft copies of all documents of proof asked
• A registration fee of INR 300/- is applicable. This can be paid using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) or Internet banking option using secure internet payment gateway.
  Complete the payment procedure.
• Sign the declaration and submit form.
  This completes the online application procedure.

Once the final admission list is announced, students have to pay an Admission Fee of INR 6,000/- for UG and INR 12,000/- for  PG course respectively.

• Date of Birth Certificate/Class X Certificate.
• Marksheet of Class XII/Degree certificate (as may be applicable).
