WBUHS, or the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, was established in the year 2003 and offers courses in the fields of medicine, a homoeopathic system of medicine, an ayurvedic system of medicine, Unani system of medicine, nursing education, pharmacy education, dental education, education on laboratory technology, physiotherapy, speech therapy and education on other paramedical courses. The JEPMAS registration window has reopened for select courses.
WBUHS offers admission to medical courses based on WBJEE, JEMAS, NEET-UG, and NEET-PG. The university fosters and develops an intellectual climate conducive to pursuing scholarship and excellence, either independently or jointly with other centres of excellence of higher learning. WBUHS Admission
WBUHS provides many medical courses such as MBBS, MD, MS, BMLT and Diploma. Admission to the courses shall be made based on competitive examinations like NEET and the entrance exams conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and post-doctoral courses, including the PhD programme in modern system of medicine, homoeopathic system of medicine, an ayurvedic system of medicine, Unani system of medicine, nursing education, pharmacy education, dental education, physiotherapy, speech therapy and education on other paramedical courses.
To secure admission at any college affiliated with the University, The candidates must first download the application form issued by the university.

WBUHS has released the 2022 results for the semester examinations of the diploma, BDS, BHMS, UG and PG programs on their official website.
