Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) is a premier technical institution established in 2017 under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Recognized as an Institute of National Importance, IIIT Bhagalpur is situated in Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar, along the southern banks of the Ganges River. The institute is a collaborative venture involving the Government of India (50%), the Government of Bihar (35%), and BELTRON (15%).

The permanent campus spans 50 acres near the Bhagalpur College of Engineering and became fully operational in 2024. It features earthquake- and flood-resistant infrastructure, state-of-the-art laboratories, a well-stocked library, and separate hostels for boys and girls.

IIIT Bhagalpur boasts strong placement records, with top recruiters like Microsoft, IBM, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, Jio, Samsung, and Amazon. In recent years, the highest package offered reached INR 89 LPA, with an average package of INR 12.52 LPA.
