MAT 2026 (Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by AIMA (All India Management Association). It is one of the most popular management entrance tests in India, accepted by 600 MBA and PGDM colleges nationwide.

MAT 2026 is conducted multiple times a year — February, May, September, and December sessions, giving aspirants flexibility to choose their preferred attempt. With moderate difficulty, wide acceptability, and multiple exam modes (PBT, CBT and IBT), MAT remains a top choice for students targeting Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 B-schools.

MAT 2026 registration for the February session is expected to begin in December 2025 on the official AIMA website.

MAT 2026 consists of 5 sections: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, and Indian & Global Environment with 150–200 questions in 120 minutes.

Any candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, including final-year students, is eligible. There is no age limit or restriction on the number of attempts.

Candidates can apply online via the AIMA MAT portal, fill the registration form, upload required documents, pay the fee, and select exam mode and preferred colleges.

The MAT 2026 admit card will be available 3–4 days before the exam for download from the official AIMA website.

MAT 2026 scores are converted to percentiles. A score of 600+ or a percentile above 85 is considered good for top MBA colleges.

Over 600+ MBA colleges, including Christ University, JIMS, XIME, IPE Hyderabad, and Amity University, accept MAT 2026 scores for admission.
