Central University of Jharkhand

CUJ is a central research university established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act, 2009. It is located in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and focuses on research in cutting-edge technologies.

CUJ operates from two campuses: the temporary Brambe campus (45 acres) and the permanent Cheri-Manatu campus (510 acres), both situated near Ranchi, Jharkhand.

CUJ offers integrated undergraduate-postgraduate (UG-PG) programs, postgraduate (PG) programs, and doctoral (Ph.D.) programs across various disciplines.

Admissions to CUJ's UG and PG programs are based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Ph.D. admissions are based on UGC/CSIR NET scores or university-conducted entrance tests followed by interviews.

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD) in relevant subjects, depending on the specific program.
