DTU placements 2023 recorded some of the best placement statistics in the university's history. During 2023 placements, the DTU highest package was recorded as INR 82.05 LPA and was offered to students of the B.Tech course. A total of 1821 students from B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA courses were placed in 2023.

More than 350 companies from multiple sectors participate in the Delhi Technological University placements. Larsen and Toubro, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, JP Morgan, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey and Company, Reliance Industries, Tata Power, etc. are some of the DTU top recruiters.

Along with final placements, the cell also organises internship drives for eligible students. During the DTU internship drive of 2022, the highest stipend offered was INR 2.00 Lakhs per month and was offered by a company named Sprinklr.

DTU Placement Highlights 2023

DTU has successfully concluded the 2023 placement drive for students of all the courses. Students received a total of 1990 offersduring DTU placements 2023. The highest DTU average package offered during 2023 placements was INR 26.96 LPA, offered for M.Tech in SPD students. However, the overall average package offered was INR 12.61 LPA.

DTU Placement Cell

DTU has a placement cell, popularly known as the Department of Training and Placement, that takes care of all the placement activities of the university. The DTU placement cell imparts candidates with the latest skills and knowledge based on industry demands. The cell is active and dedicated to providing the best employment opportunities to its students.

The placement cell at the university provides frequent training sessions, mock interviews, logical reasoning, soft skills, and verbal ability tests, which help students prepare for final placements. Delhi Technological University placement cell organises various programs like guest lectures, live projects, and summer internships to enhance students' skills and prepare them for upcoming challenges in the professional world. 

DTU Placement Process

The DTU placement cell organises the annual campus placement drives. The step-by-step process of organising the DTU placement drives is given below.

• The placement cell sends invitations to organisations to participate in campus placements.
• Interested companies fill in the placement performa with relevant information regarding the job they are offering and send it back to the DTU placement cell.
• Details of the organisation and the job offered are then posted on the Resume Manager for students. Interested students will apply for the same.
• DTU placement cell allots dates for the company's recruitment drive after discussing with the company.
• The list of the students who have applied, along with their CVs is shared with the organisation.
• Companies then come to campus on the allotted dates and conduct their recruitment process.
• Companies will issue offer letters for selected candidates through the Department of Training and Placement.

DTU Internship

Summer internships are an integral part of the DTU placements. According to the DTU Summer Internship data, the highest stipend in 2021 stood at INR 1 Lakh per month.
