Harkamaya College of Education, [HCE] Sikkim was established in 2003 by Dr. H.P. Chhetri under Rhenock Educational Society. The college aims to provide knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and skills which is necessary for quality education. It also aims to help the teachers understand the nature of a child which includes their abilities, aptitudes, emotion, instinct, ambition, intelligence and many more.

Harkamaya College of Education, Sikkim courses include B.Ed, M.Ed, Ph.D and M.Phil. Admissions can be done by visiting the campus of the college. The college is approved by the Government of Sikkim and is recognized by UGC and NCTE. It is accredited by NAAC 'A' Grade and is affiliated to Sikkim University.
