SMIMS

SMIMS, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences is a constituent college of Sikkim Manipal University. The institute was established in 1997 as a central referral hospital. Admission for the students was taken from the year 2001. The institute is approved by MCI, NCI, and IAP. Admission for the MBBS course is based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance test, NEET UG, and the admission for MD or MS is based on the NEET PG exam.

Admission for the year 2022 offers various undergraduate and postgraduate level courses, one can apply online through the official website of the institute. The campus area of the institute is spread over an area of 25 acres of mountainous land and provides good infrastructure facilities for the students of the institute. At present, the institute has 323 expert faculties, 17965+ books, and 151 journal subscriptions in the Central Library of the institute.

SMIMS Eligibility Criteria

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed 10+2 with biology as a mandatory subject and the candidates should be 17 years of age.
• Candidates should secure a valid NEET UG score.

MD Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have completed MBBS in any recognized university.
• candidates should have secured valid marks in the NEET PG exam.

M.Sc Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed in the subject of physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB for General Caste & 45 %  for candidates belonging to SC, ST & OBC.
