Heritage Institute of Technology

HITK is a private autonomous engineering institute affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal .

The institute is AICTE-approved, NBA-accredited (valid until mid‑2026), and NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited (CGPA 3.13, valid until July 2027) .

Approximately 2,328 undergraduate and 68 postgraduate students are enrolled, totaling around 2,396 students .

HITK offers B.Tech programs in 13 disciplines, M.Tech in six specializations, MCA, and B.Des; B.Tech lateral entry is also available .
