• JEE Main 2025 Exam Dates are out for IIIT Pune B.Tech admission 2025. The first session exam dates are January 22 to January 31, 2025, and the second session is scheduled from April 1 to April 8, 2025.
• GATE 2025 exam will take place on February 01, 02, 15, and 16, 2025, for IIIT Pune M.Tech admission 2025.

Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology is a state university that was founded in the year 2008 by the IIIT Delhi Act, 2007. IIIT Delhi campus is located at Okhla Industrial Estate in New Delhi and has an area of 25 acres. IIIT New Delhi is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) graded IIIT New Delhi with ‘A’ grade.

The university of IIIT is also recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). IIIT New Delhi offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes in the fields of computer science, electronics and communication, biology and other fields.

IIIT New Delhi Eligibility Criteria

All the applicants must fulfil all the eligibility criteria corresponding to their course of interest before applying for admission into it. Criteria for most prominent courses are given below.

IIIT New Delhi B.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates must have completed 12th standard with 70% marks average in five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry and Maths)
• Candidates must have scored 70% in Maths in 12th standard from CBSE board or equivalent.
• Candidates must have a valid JEE/UCEED score.

IIT New Delhi Ph.D Eligibility

• Candidates must have a relevant degree like B.Tech/ B.E/ M.Tech/ MS/ ME/ M.Sc in a relevant domain with at least  70% marks. Degrees and domains vary based on specialization.
• Candidates must have a valid NET/ GATE score.

IIT New Delhi M.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates must have a relevant degree like BE/ B.Tech/ MSc/ MCA in a relevant field with a 65% marks. Degrees and domains vary based on specialization.

IIIT New Delhi Admission

B.Tech Admissions at IIIT Delhi is done through Joint Admission Counselling [JAC], through UCEED rank [for some seats in CSD] and Class 12 marks [for some seats in CSSS]. Admission is based on the total marks in 12th standard for the best five subjects including Maths. The admission for most of the courses is done through JAC, after which admissions are offered to candidates based on IIIT-Delhi merit list for different categories of students.

IIIT New Delhi Results

When the results are declared for the courses offered by IIIT New Delhi, the link to access the results is available on the home page of the official website of the state university, https://www.iiitd.ac.in. After opening the link, students can download the PDF for their respective exams and then check their score/grade from the same. Students are advised to save/take a printout of the result for future reference/use.

IIIT New Delhi Cut Off

All the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programmes offered at IIIT New Delhi have distinct cut offs. The cut offs of the current year admissions at IIIT generally depend on the class 12th marks of the candidate, number of candidates that applied for a particular course in a given year, category of the applicant, cut offs of previous years, total number of available seats in each programme, academic track record of the applying candidates, etc.

IIIT New Delhi Campus

The campus of IIIT New Delhis is located at Okhla Industrial Estate in New Delhi. It has an area of 25 acres and is loaded with good quality infrastructure that is beneficial for all the students residing as well as travelling to and from the campus. Various student festivals, sports events, cultural events etc. are carried out in the campus of IIIT New Delhi by the student clubs throughout the academic years. 

IIIT New Delhi Hostel Details

IIIT New Delhi offers separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There is one hostel for girls and three hostels for boys. There are more than 1500 beds in total, and the hostel also has 22 married hostel accommodations for residence facilities of married Ph.D students. All rooms are well furnished, and all the hostels have recreational facilities like common rooms with TV, newspapers and magazines, and indoor sports facilities  like  music room, art room, table tennis, pool tables and a gymnasium etc. Mess is also available along with an air conditioning facility for hostel residents as well as day scholars. 

IIIT New Delhi Infrastructure

IIIT New Delhi offers state of the art infrastructure for learning and well being of its students at its campus. Library of IIIT Delhi has print resources as well as electronic resources available for faculties as well as students. IIIT New Delhi Collaborations

IIIT New Delhi has collaborated with many national and international institutes for better knowledge exchanges and research interchanges for the benefit of both the institutes and its students. For instance, Infosys Foundation funded a 3-year corpus grant to IIIT Delhi to set up Infosys Center for Artificial Intelligence at the institute campus. IIIT New Delhi Alumni

Alumni Association of IIIT New Delhi is set up to maintain healthy relations between the alumni and their Alma Mater for the mutual benefit of students, alumni and IIIT Delhi. The alumni of IIIT Delhi become a part of IIIT Delhi Alumni Network, which includes alumni across the globe. Currently, more than 1000 alumni are registered on the alumni network set up by AlmaConnect. The Alumni Association of IIIT New Delhi conducts various events like alumni talks, alumni chapters, alumni reunions etc. for keeping the alumni in touch with each other as well as IIIT Delhi.
