JIS College of Engineering

JIS College of Engineering was established in 2000 by JIS Group Educational Initiatives which is one of the largest education providers in the Eastern part of India. The group was established in the year 1998 by SardarJodh Singh to impart education, knowledge, and employment to the students. The group focuses on research which helps the students to establish a worldwide network with industry. Under the umbrella of JIS Group, there are 37 institutions. The institute offers different programs in the sphere of engineering, computer applications, and management.

JIS College of Engineering Admission

JIS College of Engineering admissions for 2022 is ongoing. Candidates must fill in the application online through the official website of the college. All the required documents must be attached. Also, candidates must submit a hard copy to the college admission department through courier or by visiting the campus. 

JIS College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria set by the Institute for various courses. Candidates must meet the criteria to get admitted into their choice of course.

BCA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 12th standard with English and computer application/ mathematics/ informatics practices computer science/ statistics as a subject from a recognized Board.

B.TEch Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education with Individual pass marks in physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ computer science.
• Valid rank in the qualifying examination (WBJEE/ JEE (Main)/ CEE-AMPAI-WB).

MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must pass graduation in any discipline
• Aspirants should have a valid score in MAT/ WBJEMAT/ AMPAI WB entrance examination.
