Nalbar College,Nalbari

Nalbari College stands as one of Assam's oldest and most esteemed institutions, founded during the pre-independence era. Initially affiliated with Calcutta University, it transitioned to Gauhati University in 1948. Recognized by the UGC under Section 2(f) in 1962, the college has grown from 28 students to over 4,400, offering a diverse range of academic programs.

• Rajdeep Kashyap set a Guinness World Record for the fastest book writing in 9 hours.

• Pubali Deka created the smallest traditional Assamese Japi Hat, recognized by India and Asia Book of Records.
