VIT admission intake is based on the score obtained by the candidate in various qualifying examinations like JEE Main/ MHT-CET/ GATE is the basis for Vishwakarma Institute of Technology Pune admission 2023. • Candidates interested in applying for the B.Tech course in this college must be passed the HSC exam or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical/ Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (At least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and PwD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together. The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority

• Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education/ Central/ State Government approved institutions/ equivalent, with at least 50% marks (At least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
• Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in GATE
• For sponsored candidates, a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational/ research institute/ any Government Department/ Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought

VIT APPLICATION PROCESS 2024

Candidates require to fill out the online application form for admission by logging in using their IDs which are specified when they are applying for the exam being directed for the course. The admission fee for various courses will be based on the VIT Pune fee structure.

• Candidates opting for admissions through JEE Main (Who possibly were not able to enroll in MHT-CET) will have to apply to make the payment through CAP under All India Seats or to be entitled to admission under institutional quota seats.
• It is required for First and Direct Second Year B.Tech candidates to buy an application kit from the nearest Facilitation Centre on payment in cash.
• After completing the application form, students have to verify the data filled out and correct it if required. The candidate shall take a printout of the form and sign it.
• Authorization of Online Application Form and document verification should be done personally by the applicant at Facilitation Centre.

Steps to Apply For VIT

• Step 1:Fill out the Application form online through the official website of DTE, Maharashtra.
• Step 2:Payment of the Application form can be made online through Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
• Step 3:For general category candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates, and NRI/ Foreign Nationals/ PIO/ Children of Indian Workers in the Gulf Countries, candidates' application form fees is INR 1000.
• Step 4:Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/ DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] and PwD Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Application form fees only is INR 800.
• Step 5:Complete Online registration of application for admission on the SAAR portal.
• Step 6:Upload the required documents on the SAAR portal.
• Step 7:Book appointments at SETU for document verification based on their schedule in the respective course brochure.
