Gossaigaon B.Ed. College, established on April 30, 1995, is a premier co-educational teacher training institution located in Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar district, Assam. Affiliated with Bodoland University and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college is dedicated to providing quality education to aspiring teachers from various regions of India.

• Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.): A two-year program with 50 seats, targeting individuals interested in elementary education.

• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): A three-year degree course with 60 seats, offering specializations in subjects like English, Bodo, Assamese, Education, Economics, and Political Science.

Admission Criteria

• B.Ed.: Candidates must have a graduate degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC candidates). Admission is based on an entrance test conducted by the affiliated body. 

• D.El.Ed.: Applicants should have completed higher secondary education with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories). Admission requires qualifying an entrance examination.

• B.A.: Candidates must have passed higher secondary education. Admission is based on merit.
