Gurucharan College

Gurucharan College, commonly known as GC College, is a prestigious government institution located in Silchar, Assam. Established in 1935, it has been a cornerstone of higher education in the Barak Valley region, serving students from Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, and Manipur. Affiliated with Assam University, Silchar, and recognized under UGC Sections 2(f) and 12(B), the college offers a diverse range of programs across Arts, Science, Commerce, and Business Administration streams.

• Higher Secondary (10+2): Courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce under the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council.

• Undergraduate Degrees: Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BSc), Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

• Smart Classrooms: Four smart classrooms facilitate ICT-based learning, utilizing tools like PowerPoint, spreadsheets, animations, and subject-specific software.

• Auditorium and Conference Hall: A magnificent auditorium accommodating 800 spectators and a conference hall with a 100-seat capacity for lectures and seminars.
