Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a 5.5-year undergraduate medical degree program, including 1 year of compulsory internship, focused on Ayurvedic medicine integrated with modern medical sciences. The program prepares students to become qualified Ayurvedic doctors capable of diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases using traditional Ayurvedic principles along with contemporary medical knowledge.
