Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in CSE (Data Science & Analytics)

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech in CSE - Data Science & Analytics program at Sharda University, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Academic Requirements:

    • Matriculation (10th) with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • Senior Secondary (12th) with a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
    • Candidates must have completed their 12th grade without any gap between 10th and 12th.
  2. Entrance Exam:

    • Candidates must appear for the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), followed by a Personal Interview.
    • Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for JEE-Mains and have an All India Rank (AIR) up to 3 lakh are eligible for direct admission.
  3. Bridge Course Option:

    • A bridge course is available for students from a PCB (Non-Biotech) background who wish to pursue a non-biotech branch such as Data Science & Analytics. This course helps bridge the knowledge gap and prepares students for the technical requirements of the B.Tech program.
