B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering at Sharda University

The B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a full-time program spread over four academic years, divided into eight semesters. Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in ECE

To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering at Sharda University, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Academic Qualifications:

    • The candidate must have completed Matriculation (10th grade) with a minimum of 60% marks.
    • The candidate must have passed Senior Secondary (10+2) examination with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The marks in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) stream should also be at least 60%.
    • There should be no gap between the 10th and 12th grades.
  2. Entrance Examination:

    • Candidates must qualify the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), which is an online test conducted by the university.
    • Alternatively, candidates can opt for admission based on their JEE-Mains All India Rank (up to 3 Lakh).
  3. Bridge Course for PCB Students:

    • Students from a PCB background (i.e., those who have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) can opt for a Bridge Course to enable them to transition to non-biotech branches like Electronics & Communication Engineering.
