Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) is the premier health sciences university in Northeast India, established under the Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Act, 2007. Admissions

Admissions to various programs are conducted through entrance examinations and merit-based selection. For undergraduate programs like BSc Nursing, BPharm, BSc Medical Technology, BMLT, BOPTM, BAMS, and BHMS, SSUHS conducts a common entrance examination. For MBBS and BDS programs, NEET scores are considered. Eligibility criteria vary by program; for instance, candidates for the MBBS program must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. ​
