University of Mysore [UOM] was established on July 27, 1916, and is located in Mysore, Karnataka. It is the first state university in Karnatakaand thesixth oldest universityin the country. It was the first university accredited by NAAC in 2000 with five-star status. UOM has 85 PG departments offering more than 150 PG Programmes. The PG courses available at UOM include MCom, MA, MBA, MSW, MTech, MPEd, and MSc. The PG admissions are currently ongoing. Karnataka PGCET 2023 exam is to be conducted in July 2023 (tentatively). The results for the same will be declared in August and the counseling will commence in the month of September 2023. The provisional admission last date for UG programs is August 30, 2023, and PG course is October 31, 2023.

The University of Mysore has a 4-star rating in Karnataka State Universities Rating Framework [KSURF]. The University of Mysore has more than 1.2 Lakh UG, PG, M.Phil, and PhD students. There are 228 affiliated colleges, 39 recognized Research Centers, 138 research centres, eight training centres, 23 specialized programmes, and 38 foreign and 131 national collaborations. The university is a global hub of education with many international students. The University of Mysore has four campuses, Manasagangotri is the main campus, and three others are Tubinakere, Hemagangotri, and Chamarajanagara. University of Mysore admission can be completed online by visiting the college's official website. University of Mysore Cutoff

The University of Mysore announced the scheme B selection list 2022 for all PG programs and the round 3 selection list for M.Com. The university announced the round 2 merit list for its postgraduate programs on January 19, 2022. The casual round of admission, slated for January 24, follows the round 2 merits. LLM, MA, MBA, MCom, MTech, M.Ed, M.P.Ed, M.Arch, M.Lib.I.Sc, Master of Social Work (MSW), and MSc are among the PG programs for which merit lists have been produced.
